Building a For Purpose Business: Helping Women Achieve Their Goals with Intentional Living

Have you ever come across an idea that just clicks? That’s exactly how I felt recently when I heard someone refer to their business as a “for purpose” business instead of “for profit.” It hit me right in the heart because that’s exactly what we’re striving to be.

Sure, we want to make money (because keeping the lights on is important), but our true goal goes so much deeper. It all started because I was going through a hard time and writing down all the things I was grateful for was a turning point to helping me get navigate my way through it. And because it helped me so much, I wanted to create something that would also help others who were also struggling. So here we are now, trying our best to make an impact, giving women tools that transform their lives, and creating something that truly matters.

What Does “For Purpose” Mean?

“For purpose” is all about creating something meaningful—something that drives change and makes a difference in people’s lives. For us, that means helping women:

  • Write down their goals and accomplish them.

  • Gain clarity in their lives so they can focus on what truly matters.

  • Engage in creativity through writing, doodling, or journaling.

  • Practice gratitude to shift their mindset and uncover more joy in their day-to-day lives.

Our products aren’t just journals—they’re tools for transformation. They’re here to help you unplug, refocus, and live intentionally.

Why Writing Things Down Matters

You’ve probably heard this before: Write it down, and it’ll happen. But did you know there’s actual science behind this? Dr. Gail Matthews, a psychology professor at Dominican University in California, did a study on goal setting with 267 participants. She found that you are 33- 42 % more likely to achieve your goals just by writing them down.

When you write something down, it becomes real. It’s no longer just a thought floating around in your head. You’re committing to it. You’re creating a roadmap. And as you revisit those goals, you’re building momentum to achieve them.

But here’s the kicker: It’s not just about writing down big, lofty dreams. It’s about writing anything—gratitude lists, doodles, daily reflections. The simple act of putting pen to paper helps you slow down, process your thoughts, and stay present in a world that’s constantly pulling you in a million directions.

Our “For Purpose” Promise

At the end of the day, this business is about you. It’s about giving you tools that help you build a life you love. Yes, we want to grow and make money—but not at the expense of our mission.

We’re here to make an income and make an impact. To be a “for purpose” business that empowers women to take control of their lives, embrace gratitude, and pursue their goals with clarity and confidence.
